Many thanks to Carsten our host on tasteandshare for helping me get my web site up and running.As a painter I have only one golden rule and that is if someone places a deposit on a picture and the for some reason decides against it I will only refund the deposit once the picture is sold.This happened recently when a 5th year Art student put a deposit on a picture because it reminded him of his late father.On reflection he decided it reminded him of his father too much and he told me he was not g… Continue

5 minute chocolate cake

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug (MicroSafe)

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well..
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.

Art in the garden at 38

One could say that despite the weather the folks who came to 38 yesterday had a fun time, this was our 2nd Sunday Art sale most of the bon homie arising from the eary start to the wine tasting side of affairs the highlight of which was the St Emillion Grand Cru 2006!This however led to the main man (the dealer) in the planned installation 'Poker On the Patio' getting crippled while commenting on the undertones which in turn led to the postponement of that part of the show.The day started with a… Continue
