I am a hardcore foodie. I was lucky enough to have an ex-boyfriend who loved to travel and visit places in Asia. So that was a perfect complement for the both of us. One day he actually wrote an essay as to why we should travel abroad for a year and just see the world. Ofcourse, after reading that, I was sold.

So there were many exotic locales and places we've visited. From the tropical archipelago of Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. To the cold and icy Siberia, Alaska and Greenland. And even tourist staples like Tokyo, Paris and England.

We've tasted very weird looking food like the Philippines' BALUT :



Here's me (and yes I look really terrible) eating Balut:



And then there's also their famous ROASTED PIG:



Mind you they will really raise your blood pressure. During our short stay in Manila, we learned that the roasted pigs were no match for the roasted pigs prepared over in Cebu city.

From Thailand, there's also the pad Thai, rice noodles with pork, bean sprouts, onions, and peanuts.
