A simply delicious evening awaits at Fota Island Resort for the launch of Simply Pastry, the Resort’s new pastry recipe book!
Launching on December 13th at 6.30pm in the Cove restaurant at Fota Island Resort, Simply Pastry is a selection of recipes for year-round pastry treats from the kitchens of Fota Island Resort – some simple, some more complex.
From delicious breads to creative desserts, with recipes for every occasion and season, this is a tribute to the exceptional art of the pastry chef, and a book which will be enjoyed by anyone who loves to bake – or even have someone else bake for them!
Executive Pastry Chef Rachid Zaouia, the man responsible for this fabulous book, will be giving a fascinating 15 minute demo on the art of sugar work on the night, a small sample of the pastry chef’s consummate skill. With a mulled wine reception, bubbly and Christmas cocktails, and a taster of some of the delectable favourites in the book, plus a goodie bag of surprises and your own copy of Simply Pastry to take home, this is a sweet evening almost good enough to eat!
