Ingredients
1 large russet potato
1 egg
1/2 to 3/4 cup flour depending on a wide array of factors
sauce to cover
Instructions
Step 1
Put 1 large russet potato in a microwave, cook for about 7 minutes. You can bake the potato, too.
Nice and dry.
Take the skin of the potato. Use the back of the a wood spoon to push the potato through a strainer into a plate.
Add a pinch of salt. Dump in 1 beaten egg. Mix well.
Step 2
Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup flour depending on a wide array of factors. Mix well.
Then add some extra flour, and mix well.
Use your hand to toss around, and make sure they hold together.
Step 3
Add some flour on the table. Then put the dough on, and cut the dough into 4 pieces.
Roll each piece from centre to sides. It will become a long round stick.
Cut the stick into half inch pieces. Roll each pieces on the back of the fork.
These are our Gnocchi.
Step 4
Add Gnocchi sauce into a pan.
Step 5
Add some salt into 1/3 pot of water, bring it to boil. Add the Gnocchi.
When the Gnocchi float on the top of the water, cook for another 14 seconds.
Remove and transfer to the pan with sauce. Topped with some grated Parmesan cheese.
